What if we were lost in Space, with no prospect of returning to Earth—what would we do with time, silence and waiting? Stuck in a space station, Boris and Kyril do not know when they will be able to return home. Abandoned in the cosmos, the two astronauts each deal with the ordeal in their own way. One sinks into melancholy while the other enjoys the situation. Supported by Viviane, an artificial intelligence, they do their best to keep busy and struggle with weightlessness, without knowing when their mission will end. A few handmade tools, plenty of humor and imagination are all Jeanne Candel needs to tell this intergalactic journey. The two men’s mishaps unfold with the essentials: the bodies and souls of the performers, and repurposed objects, all carried by a musical score blending popular, classical and melancholic melodies. In this minimalist and inventive theater, children discover the conquest of Space, while adults reflect on our condition in the face of the universe.
