Since it was created in 2023, the team behind the radio show “Gaming & Politique” has explored video games and their many themes from a consistently political perspective, with help from various video-game researchers and professionals. First on Radiodio in Saint Etienne, then on Radio Galère in Marseille, Gaming et Politique has continually examined video-game themes, exploring their cultural, artistic, and structural dimensions with humor and mischief.

For their next episode, Gaming & Politique is setting up its studio at Videodrome 2 for a public recording—to share, discover, and above all have fun talking about the interactive works that fascinate and challenge us. Our conversations are designed for newcomers; everyone is welcome! Have you always wanted to know all about gameplay, MMORPGs, or CPUs but never dared to ask? Don’t hesitate—join us!

The episode will be followed by a screening of two films about video games, from different eras and in different formats. The images will fuel the show’s discussion: “Who is behind the controllers today?

Tickets go on sale 30 minutes before each screening.

We operate on a pay-what-you-can basis (everyone pays what they want/can/feel is fair). We believe pay-what-you-can pricing gives everyone the opportunity to enjoy the experiences that interest them and to value the work done as they see fit.

Membership in the association is required to attend screenings. It costs from 8€ and is valid for one calendar year. You can sign up online! For those who wish and are able, membership also allows you to support us by adding an amount of your choice.
