Inspired by the traditional Celtic festival of Samain, “Il était une fois une âme” invites the audience to discover a world where the boundaries between the living and the dead fade away.

In Celtic tradition, Samain marks a special evening and night during which the living and the dead can communicate freely. Among the Gauls, death was not viewed as an end, but rather as a continuation of life.

The performance draws on this imaginary world to offer a poetic and timeless reflection on the secret of Life, its unexpected adventures and freedom.
