Inauguration du café Julien avec les Oiseaux Perchés x Folks Festival

After several months of renovations, Café Julien is opening its doors with a new look. After a presentation of the new activities, Cie Les Oiseaux Perchés will open the event with vertical dance. Then come sets by Orsso and KSU from Folks Festival. Les Oiseaux Perchés Created by Compagnie Les Oiseaux Perchés, ALTO is an aerial and contemporary work that questions our relationship with gravity, space and suspension. ALTO stems from a desire to question the limits of the body and the way it interacts with its environment. Suspended in the void, the dancers explore states of presence in which strength, vulnerability, risk and poetry coexist. Each movement becomes a negotiation with gravity, each suspension an invitation to contemplate time differently. Live music accompanies this sensory journey, creating a space of resonance between gesture, sound and architecture. Together, they compose an immersive experience that speaks as much to the audience’s emotions as to their imagination. Orsso A multi-instrumentalist, DJ and composer, Jean Dasso, known by the alias Yeahman, now goes by ORSSO. He continues to champion a form of artistic universality and breaks down the boundaries between electronic music and world influences. Since 2017, he has toured North America, Europe and Africa. Selected for the Inouïs du Printemps de Bourges, Yeahman represented the Occitanie region there in 2021, before moving to Marseille that same year, where he would develop the evolution of his project with ORSSO… Spotted by FIP and Radio Nova and released in January 2021 on the U.S. label Wonderwheel Recordings, “Ostriconi,” the first album released under the name Yeahman, breathes in traditional influences and brings together contemporary musicians, while adding his personal vision of electronic music, filled with vaporous keyboards and driven by powerful bass. In spring 2022, he created a magnificent session for Cercle, which also released the track “Wadi Rum” on its label (September 2022). The video has already amassed more than 500,000 views on YouTube… KSU A DJ based in Marseille. Her dynamic, evolving sets move through the worlds of bass music, combining deep basslines, highly percussive elements and intense rhythms. She creates powerful, immersive sound journeys designed for the dancefloor. Co-founder of the Marseille collective Pata Negra, KSU is actively involved in the local alternative scene and contributes to the development of projects showcasing hybrid and committed electronic aesthetics.
