Kantatrix

KantatriX, or the soul of jazz. The duo of Nicolas Cante (vocals, piano) and Patrick Ferné (double bass) is built around a repertoire of standards influenced by the greats—Nat King Cole, Frank Sinatra, Louis Armstrong and Nina Simone. Voice and double bass converse with understated elegance, carrying on the fine tradition of the piano-and-double-bass duo, as Duke Ellington and Jimmy Blanton once did.

An intimate, refined evening where every standard recaptures its original emotion: the perfect gathering for lovers of vocal jazz, over a drink on the Old Port. Nicolas Cante (vocals, piano) · Patrick Ferné (double bass)
