About this event

In a house at the heart of an imaginary village, a family gathers. The sister, condemned by illness, is going to die. Around her, everyone searches for their place, often impossible and untenable. Eyes meet and clash; tensions rise; certainties waver. How can we accompany the woman who is fading away when everyone’s intimate and political motives are revealed?

For her seventh creation, Tiphaine Raffier approaches the end of life and the right to die with dignity with humanity. Through this family drama, she explores the notion of the time remaining, the unspoken, taboos and family contradictions, language and its gaps. Her intention: for us to leave filled with a life-giving and creative force. And for us, despite the cruelty, to be carried—together—by the poem.

Written and directed by: Tiphaine Raffier With Emma Bolcato, Teddy Chawa, Thomas Gonzalez, Paula Luna, Édith Mérieau, Catherine Mestoussis, Thierry Paret, Adrien Rouyard
