Torine is eager to tell you The Great Quest of the Catvalier, a medievalesque story that has never been heard before! While everything is going according to plan, her longtime partner Vendetta, who is supposed to play the catvalier, decides to cause trouble today. He refuses to come out, sulks, stays motionless… Torine will try, come what may, to keep the show alive despite Vendetta’s reluctance. Cardboard sets, an epic story, an attack by the great Yorkshire Le Sanguinaire, songs that bring tears to your eyes—in short, Torine will put all her energy into giving you an extraordinary adventure. But behind the grand story, more intimate and universal truths emerge. Without knowing or intending to, Torine tells her own story, evoking her relationship with her partner Vendetta, her desire to do well, her gentleness and her own loneliness.
