La Rive
A show by Louise Vignaud, performed by Compagnie La Résolue.
About this event
In La Rive, Louise Vignaud continues her work as a writer and director, which we previously discovered at Les THÉÂTRES with the show Nuit d’Octobre. Drawing inspiration from ancient tragedy, La Rive plunges us into the struggle of four women confronted with exile and war. Through the stories of these shattered lives, theater becomes a mirror of a world tipping into chaos and of a war that abolishes every border—geographical, political, and intimate. In a dialogue between ancient tragedy and the contemporary world, the play gives women and victims back a voice that History has always sought to make invisible. In this choral theater piece, Louise Vignaud promises us a radiant and hard-hitting show.
