Le Diner d'ouverture - Festival Souvenirs d'enfance III
About this event
Everyone is joining forces to support sea rescue with SOS MEDITERRANEE! An original six-course gourmet menu, with six stories told live on stage. Featuring Michelin-starred chef Julien Diaz, Sébastien Cortez, Hugues Mbenda (Le Kin / Libala), chefs Laurène de Souza, rising talent Lauris Navarro, the award-winning pastry chef Jérôme Raffaelli, war reporter Wilson Fache and 5 other personalities. 100 % of ticket sales proceeds will go to the NGO SOS MEDITERRANEE.
Since 2015, SOS MEDITERRANEE has been rescuing people in distress in the Central Mediterranean, one of the world’s deadliest migration routes. Aboard the Ocean Viking, the association has already rescued more than 43 000 people, including 24 % children and young minors.
In 2026, SOS MEDITERRANEE celebrates ten years of solidarity and commitment at sea, against an increasingly critical humanitarian backdrop.
Through our benefit dinner, we hope to contribute to this essential work: 100 % of the evening’s proceeds will go to SOS MEDITERRANEE.

Six chefs cook a solidarity dinner for SOS Méditerranée.🌊

@festivalsouvenirs returns from November 9 to 15 for its third edition. It brings together chefs, artists and experts around a shared ambition: to foster solidarity through cooking.

The proceeds go to @sosmediterranee.
On November 9, six chefs dedicated to the cause each create a dish inspired by their childhood memories for a dinner with 300 guests at Les Grandes Tables at Friche Belle de Mai. Wilson Fache, war reporter and 2023 Albert Londres Prize winner, will speak about his mission aboard the Ocean Viking.

Through November 15, the festival continues with a Mets en Scène evening, a screening of Mothership, cooking workshops and a solidarity dish served at dozens of restaurants in Marseille.
