Festival Souvenirs d'enfance 2026

9 Nov – 16 Nov 2026 · Marseille

About

At the initiative of the Marseille-based association EBULLITION, the 3rd edition of the SOUVENIRS D'ENFANCE festival takes over the city of Marseille from 9 to 15 November 2026. Bringing together exceptional cuisine, personal stories and civic engagement, the event unites Michelin-starred chefs, public figures and the general public around a vital cause: supporting the sea rescue missions of SOS MEDITERRANEE.

Led by Louis Petre and a team of local volunteers, the SOUVENIRS D’ENFANCE festival has established itself since 2024 as a unique charity event. The concept? Use cuisine as a way to evoke memories and bring people together, while raising funds for essential causes. After supporting UNICEF and then the fight against childhood cancer, this 2026 edition is rallying behind SOS MEDITERRANEE, an NGO whose rescues at sea since 2016 have included minors among 24% of those rescued.

The Festival Programme

  1. The Opening Gala Dinner (Monday 9 November)

The festival will open at Les Grandes Tables de la Friche de la Belle de Mai with an exceptional evening bringing together 300 guests for a six-course gastronomic menu. For the occasion, six outstanding chefs will each present a dish inspired by their own childhood memories:

Hugues Mbenda (Chef at the Libala and Kin restaurants in Marseille)

Julien Diaz (Michelin-starred chef) paired with Sébastien Cortez (travelling chef)

Jérôme Raffaelli (Pastry chef at Oh Faon)

Khadija Rahimi (Afghan cook)

Lauris Navarro (Former chef de partie at the two-Michelin-starred Patrick Guilbaud restaurant)

Laurène de Souza (Nomadic and private chef)

The dinner will feature speeches and personal accounts, including a special appearance by Wilson Fache, war reporter and 2023 Albert Londres Prize winner, who sailed aboard the Ocean Viking in 2024.

Dinner prices: 75 € (six-course menu) / 100 € (with food and wine pairings) / 1 000 € (corporate table for 10, tax-deductible). Proceeds will go directly towards funding operations at sea (a day at sea costs 24 000 €).
