About this event
Editorial
For their first feature film, the Nantes-based collective Les Furtifs presents its new project, Que Ton Règne Vienne: an immersive documentary about Satan and its representations. With Que Ton Règne Vienne, we want to tell the story of Satanism in France without the clichés, rumors and fake news surrounding it. Satan, the great embodiment of evil, remains above all, even in the contemporary era, an inexhaustible source of inspiration and countercultural rebellion, an utterly romantic figure. For the first time, contributions from recognized researchers and “practitioners” are brought together in one film. Through the road trip of a recurring central character, a whole adventure unfolds, encountering historical figures tinged with dark legend. The documentary sits at the crossroads of history, sociology and esotericism, and is intended for all audiences, whether initiated or curious.
