Les Dieux dans la Cendre
The heroes and gods of Greek mythology return to the stage, but the world they move through is ours.
About this event
Through a succession of scenes combining tragedy, humor, poetry and irreverence, Achilles, Medea, Sisyphus, Cassandra and Prometheus tell of our wars, desires, anger and hopes.
By bringing foundational myths into dialogue with contemporary concerns, Les dieux dans la cendre offers a vibrant theater in which ancient figures abandon marble to recover their flesh, flaws and burning relevance. A theatrical journey where the gods no longer rule over humanity: they bear its ashes.
