Lettres non-écrites

Have you ever wanted to write a letter to someone dear to you but not dared, not known how or not been able to? In each of his creations, David Geselson enjoys exploring intimate stories. With Unwritten Letters, he reinvents the art of the public letter writer and invites everyone to entrust him with the words they have never said. He shared this writing process with other invited authors, thereby transforming the confidences collected into texts brought to the stage. Words of love or friendship, secrets, regrets or things left unsaid: the stories intersect onstage in a deeply moving performance. On a stripped-back stage, the letters emerge from a printer to be read by the actors. Dramas and the small details of everyday life are approached with equal delicacy. Little by little, from one story to the next, a bond is woven between the artists and spectators, transforming the performance into a shared experience full of humanity. With Servane Ducorps, David Geselson and Adeline Guillot Musicians Jérémie Arcache, Sébastien Forrester and Myrtille Hetzel. Writing Samuel Gallet, David Geselson, Julie Ménard, Jérémie Scheidler, Alice Zeniter.
