Lullaby shot

As part of Printemps de la danse, co-programmed with the Association de Promotion de l’Espace Culturel Busserine Since her first pieces, Leïla Ka has embodied a dazzling energy that takes our breath away, moves us, embraces us and carries us away. While the female figure is always at the heart of her work, the message is particularly fierce in Lullaby Shot. In this piece, the choreographer upends everything: the eight dancers in this work let go, give in, overflow and free themselves from their corsets. No more straight backs or rigid necks: limbs whirl, hips sway, all tension banished. Delicacy, manners and restraint are forgotten. To hell with propriety and imposed roles! This is the time of emancipation, of physical, raw dance. All of it is energized by an electro soundtrack, perfectly attuned to this militant and liberating release.
