The NOUS SOMMES organization holds listening circles for men who wish to find a caring space for dialogue from a feminist perspective. Accompanied by a mediator from the organization, you are invited to talk together and discuss the issues that affect and concern you.

This month, we will focus on the notions of flirting and seduction: what we put at stake when we seek to enter into a relationship with someone, and how we experience these situations. What relationship-building tools and codes am I aware that I use? How do flirting and seduction manifest themselves for me, and in what contexts do I use them? What am I attentive to when I flirt? What am I able to make my own, and what still eludes me? What actions or thought patterns might escape me? What do I like about seducing or being seduced? What do I feel when an attempt at flirting fails, goes unanswered or does not have the expected effect? How aware am I of the reactions my behavior may provoke in the other person? And ultimately, what is “successful flirting” for me? For this September back-to-school circle, the theme will be chosen by the group on the day.

Continuing her educational work, the NOUS SOMMES organization aims to prevent gender-based violence through mediation work (listening circles, writing workshops, labs, etc.) and by organizing a variety of events.
