Nedjma Bachi and Friends

Nedjma Bachi and Friends at La Caravelle La Caravelle invites you to immerse yourself in the world of Nedjma Bachi, a jazz singer with a luminous sensibility, active between the South of France and Paris through various musical projects, primarily jazz but also Sephardic music. For this evening, Nedjma brings together artists who are dear to her, both personally and musically, to form an intense, close-knit, inspired trio. Joining her is pianist Yann Delaunay, a remarkable musician with a vibrant style. A jazz pianist from New Caledonia, he is now very active on the Marseille scene through various projects combining modern jazz, composition, and bossa nova. An arranger, composer, and performer, he has developed a distinctive musical signature and performs regularly in Paris, Marseille, and elsewhere. On upright bass, Adrien Coulomb brings depth and mastery of sound: a mature, powerful bass, essential to that particular feeling people seek when they attend a jazz concert.

For this concert, the trio offers a repertoire combining great standards and original compositions, in a vibrant, sincere jazz close to its purest essence: sharing and improvisation. A musical journey through pieces that have shaped jazz history, alongside more intimate ones that tell the story of a path and a world still evolving. “Nedjma Bachi and Friends” promises an evening of jazz led by a close-knit, passionate trio.
