Nedjma Bachi and Friends

Nedjma Bachi and Friends at La Caravelle. La Caravelle invites you to immerse yourself in the world of Nedjma Bachi, a jazz singer with a radiant sensitivity who works between the south of France and Paris on a range of musical projects, primarily jazz but also Sephardic music. For this evening, Nedjma brings together artists who are dear to her, both personally and musically, to form an intense, close-knit and inspired trio. At her side is pianist Yann Delaunay, a remarkable musician with a vibrant style. A jazz pianist from New Caledonia, he is now very active on the Marseille scene, taking part in various projects blending modern jazz, composition and bossa nova. An arranger, composer and performer, he has developed a distinctive musical signature and regularly performs in Paris, Marseille and elsewhere. On double bass, Adrien Coulomb brings depth and mastery of sound: a mature, powerful bass, essential to that special feeling people seek when attending a jazz concert. For this concert, the trio offers a repertoire blending great standards and original compositions, in a lively, sincere jazz close to its purest essence: sharing and improvisation. A musical journey through pieces that have shaped the history of jazz, alongside more intimate works that tell the story of a path and a world in constant evolution. “Nedjma Bachi and Friends” promises an evening of jazz led by a close-knit and passionate trio.
