Pocket Change
About this event
Pocket Change is a jazz trio that readily flirts with fusion and Latin music. Led by Marseille pianist Matteo Astuzia, a young talent with an inventive style, the group draws on a repertoire infused with Latin and fusion influences to turn up the heat, with swaying grooves and improvised flights. Rounded bass and precise drumming complete this stage-ready trio: an evening of energy and camaraderie, where jazz becomes warm and danceable. La Caravelle: a jazz bar tucked above Marseille’s Old Port, with its wood paneling, antique mirrors and views of Notre-Dame-de-la-Garde. Concerts every Wednesday and Friday evening. Practical information: Wednesday, 4 November 2026, from 20h30 to 23h30. Admission 4 €, free for guests of the Belle-Vue hotel. 34 quai du Port, 13002 Marseille.
