"Se souvenir des contours" avec Claire Bastier - Cantini
About this event
Apply color, set down words, find the shape, and finally tell the story. Stories of departures, whether they are narrow escapes or heartbreaks. Their outlines take shape through gazes, the swell of the sea, and its echoes along the shores.
As you encounter a painting, sculpture, or letter, Claire Bastier will take you on a dreamlike, sung storytelling stroll. Her stories will evoke travel, wandering, and encounters. They will also tell of the memory of places that have disappeared, and of beauty as a bulwark against forgetting and death.
