Aketo and Tunisiano have announced their return to the stage for a concert tour under the name Sniper as a duo. A return to their roots: bringing the classics back to life, offering new songs and reaffirming their voice in committed rap. A founding group in French rap, Sniper emerged in 1997 in Val-d’Oise, around Aketo, Tunisiano, Blacko and DJ Boudj. They quickly made their mark on the music scene with powerful albums such as Du rire aux larmes (2001), Grave dans la roche (2003) and Trait pour trait (2006), combining commitment, lived experience in the cities, social criticism and poetic strength. Fans can expect reminders of iconic tracks, as well as the discovery of a more mature world, free from past tensions and focused on respect, authenticity and energy.
