The exhibition focuses on the discreet yet persistent forms that continue to inhabit the world: material remnants, inherited stories, transmitted gestures, transformed landscapes, invisible presences and buried memories. The works on display testify to the ability of beings, objects and places to survive the historical, social and intimate upheavals that pass through them. “What Remains of the World: Survivals” thus aims to offer visitors a sensitive experience of memory and permanence. Through diverse artistic approaches, the artists brought together, almost all based in Marseille, represent all disciplines of contemporary visual art in an inclusive and cross-disciplinary dynamic. They invite us to consider what remains when the world changes, what resists oblivion and what continues to connect us to the generations, places and stories that came before us. Opening on 08/27 at 6:00 p.m. Monday to Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. open for European Heritage Days on September 19 and 20.
Free
Every day except Saturdays and Sundays, from Friday, August 28, 2026 to Sunday, September 20, 2026, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
