About this event

Pioneers in pushing boundaries and making history, the world-famous Harlem Globetrotters have announced their return in 2027 for the Rivalry Tour. This tour is unlike anything seen in 100 years, featuring an all-new game and unprecedented challenges that raise the stakes at every stop. Fans won’t just be spectators: this season puts them right at the heart of the action, on the court. Unlimited basketball, where every possession becomes a true spectacle, with the fun, joy and history that only the Globetrotters can deliver.

The Harlem Globetrotters and the Washington Generals will unveil all-new jerseys and fan merchandise, with a fresh look designed for this new era of the Rivalry. The tour will also unveil the official Harlem Globetrotters Rivals replica ball by Spalding, a limited-edition “hybrid” basketball, half Harlem Globetrotters and half Washington Generals.

Since their founding in 1926, the Globetrotters, enshrined in the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame, have toured the world, bringing their show to more than 124 countries and territories across six continents and captivating tens of millions of spectators.

Named “Ambassadors of Goodwill” by the U.S. Department of State in 1951, the Globetrotters have made this title a driving force behind their social commitments. Their work focuses on three areas: health and well-being, education and community empowerment. These initiatives have enabled them to work with major organizations such as Microsoft, the U.S. Department of State through its sports diplomacy program, the National Archives and Comic Relief Red Nose Day.
