U.22 X Everybody Trance: Ekkel, Forest, Byche, Dj Palpite

Since November has never stopped bodies from blossoming, on November 6 we’re handing the club keys to Everybody Trance, a Lyon collective with a taste for free-spirited parties and sounds that gently make you lose your bearings.

From open-air parties to club nights, this wonderful crew champions an adventurous, unifying vision of celebration, where Trance roots nourish thoroughly contemporary imaginaries. An invitation to venture together into the psychedelic undergrowth, with a few choice guides to show us the way.

First up is Ekkel, a Norwegian DJ and producer, co-founder of the Ute collective and label. His first parties took root in the forests of Oslo before carrying their spirit far beyond Scandinavia. Moving between progressive Trance, psychedelic Techno and Acid lines that wind along with the bass, he—also known as Alvar—develops a world where melodies intertwine and percussion works deep into the body. Music that takes its time to settle in, blur the landmarks and raise the temperature, until everyone finds themselves somewhere between the roots and the treetops.

And since we’ll be taking a few detours, we’re delighted to welcome Forest, DJ and producer, co-founder of Geosmine and resident of the HORS-SOL collective. From Goa influences to broken rhythms, Deep Techno to soaring Trance, she sketches landscapes that are both organic and hypnotic, where misty layers always let a few rays of light through. The perfect conditions for growing beautiful musical hallucinations in the heart of Belle de Mai.

To round out this expedition, Byche will join DJ Palpite behind the decks for a late-night b2b. Connected to Everybody Trance since its beginnings and host of the Instinctive Travel show on LYL Radio, Byche loves the meeting points between House, progressive Trance and hypnotic Techno. Alongside him, DJ Palpite, who has already appeared on Shining Hill lineups, will extend this collective escape.

—————— EKKEL Ekkel is a Norwegian producer and DJ whose sound draws deeply on the psychedelic heritage of Nordic electronic music. Moving between trance, breaks and hard-hitting rhythms, his productions channel the exploratory spirit of 1990s electronic music while constantly reinventing it in new forms. His debut album, *Me & The Ghost*, will be released on the Kalahari Oyster Cult label in November 2026. Rooted in the Scandinavian “progressive” tradition of the early 2000s, the record draws inspiration from the Swedish-Danish axis represented by labels such as Spiral Trax and Creamcrop, while developing a resolutely contemporary and distinctive language. Restrained, groove-focused and stripped back, *Me & The Ghost* moves between dark minimalism—evoking the floor of a damp forest—, insect-like sonic details and deep bass pressure, before drifting into stranger, more airborne territory. Disembodied voices, synthesizer experiments and moments of cosmic melancholy propel the album beyond the confines of the dancefloor, while maintaining constant tension from beginning to end. Ekkel is also co-founder of the Norwegian collective Ute, which has evolved from smoky mornings in the heart of Norwegian forests to performances at Bassiani club and outdoor parties in Australia.

FOREST Paris-based DJ and producer Forest is co-founder of the Geosmine label and a resident of HORS-SOL and GIMIC Radio. Her approach is guided by an ongoing exploration of musical hybridity, with a particular affinity for the hypnotic and psychedelic facets of electronic music. Drawing on progressive, breaks, ambient, DnB, deep techno and dub techno sounds from the 1990s and early 2000s, she weaves connections between new discoveries and timeless gems. Her sets are built around shifting rhythms, unexpected connections and a pronounced sense of progression. Moving between genres without ever confining herself to a single formula, each performance reflects her sensibility, shaped by the present moment, the music itself and the energy of the dancefloor. With a deep understanding of psychedelia, Forest moves between familiar references and more unexpected territory; she deconstructs and interweaves styles in an ongoing exchange between music, movement and collective energy. Forest has performed across France and Europe, including in Paris, Amsterdam, London, Nantes, Copenhagen, Brussels, Barcelona and Madrid. In February 2027, she will embark on her first tour in Asia. As a producer, she has released her work on her own label, Geosmine, as well as Organic Signs (vinyl), Kluster, Tustance and Evolve. Upcoming projects include a solo EP on Orientation (vinyl) and releases on Qilla (vinyl), as well as new productions on the Murmurs, Aurora Mística and Fórum labels.

DJ PALPITE A true master of storytelling through DJ sets, he has a knack for creating a unique tension on the dancefloor, eventually plunging it into a trance-like state. Through a clever blend of psychedelic sounds, he builds a real narrative—wild, hypnotic and poetic all at once.
