Zoufris Maracas
The band Zoufris Maracas performs at Espace Julien Marseille!
About this event
Anti-globalization and borderless. Activists and apolitical.
Eco-friendly and parasites of French chanson, whose conventions they shake up with their colorful guitars and melodies from far-flung places, Zoufris Maracas don’t fit into any box! True to their thirst for freedom and close to today’s concerns, they are better than ever at bringing together poetic lyrics, social commitment and musical journeys.
Often compared to Mano Negra or Les Négresses Vertes, the band has established itself as a leading name on the French alternative scene with 4 albums and more than 700 concerts.
Their strength lies in their music, their lyrics, word of mouth and a fierce desire to dance to serious subjects.
