Biodiversité marseillaise, entre mer et collines

Visit the Muséum d'Histoire Naturelle de Marseille from May 19 to September 27, 2026, to discover the photo exhibition “Biodiversité marseillaise, entre mer et collines”. Is nature in Marseille richer than that of Paris or Los Angeles? Since 2024, Aix-Marseille Université and the City of Marseille have been taking part in the City Nature Challenge! This international challenge gives everyone the opportunity to discover and contribute to knowledge of the incredible natural wealth of their municipality. Marseille, between sea and hills, is home to little-known biodiversity. Through 16 photographs of the finest or most remarkable observations from the 2025 edition, we invite you to discover a sample of it.
