CONCERT DE L'ORCHESTRE PHILHARMONIQUE DE MARSEILLE QUATRE SAISONS

Symphonic concert

Antonio Vivaldi was 47 when he wrote The Four Seasons, which spread across Europe like wildfire. They disappeared for two centuries and became the most recorded work in the world, with a thousand different versions.

Astor Piazzolla was approximately the same age when he composed his Four Seasons of Buenos Aires, which the Russian composer Leonid Desyatnikov arranged for orchestra. Star of the day, Da-Min Kim will also play Beethoven’s delightful Romance No. 2.
