CONCERT BY THE ORCHESTRE PHILHARMONIQUE DE MARSEILLE MUSICAL SUMMITS

Anyone who has never seen Mickey battle the brooms in Fantasia has seen nothing. Thanks to Walt Disney, everyone knows Paul Dukas’s The Sorcerer’s Apprentice.

Anyone who has never heard a violin tame an entire orchestra with its sublime song has never heard Beethoven’s Concerto. Alone against everyone, and for the whole world. Anyone who has never danced cheek to cheek to the waltzes from Der Rosenkavalier is to be pitied. We mourn there the twilight of the douceur de vivre.
