J'étais parti·e, pardon (dans un autre univers)
“We are arriving at a place where the boundary between true and false becomes very thin.”
About this event
Is it possible to travel through parallel worlds? In this zany comedy devised by the Mind the Gap collective and written by Théophile Dubus, poetry flirts with science fiction, taking young and old alike on an investigation full of twists and turns.
Students have mysteriously disappeared. Will you be able to find them? Along the way, we meet the students of Angela Davis School, their teacher Jin, Madame Civier-Béchue (the headteacher), fake trailers, the Museum of Science and Fictions, inter-universe remote controls, a mysterious profit-hungry company… And then there is Gab (or Gaby). Gaby (or Gab) is a nine-year-old child convinced that they are not in the right universe and who gradually becomes the main character of the show.
Using a form of visible theatre in which the performers merge with their characters, we see the boundary between true and false begin to blur, prompting us to ask: “how could we change worlds? Or how could we change the world?”
