King Kong Girl, d'après King Kong Theorie
The Underwords company is delighted to present the play King Kong Girl in Marseille, based on King Kong Théorie by Virginie Despentes.
About this event
King Kong Girl, a free theatrical adaptation of Virginie Despentes’s cult feminist essay King Kong Théorie, is a reflection on the interactions and mechanisms of domination between men and women, by the Underwords company.
In this solo performance, carried by Clémentine Sébillet and accompanied by Yohan Carmona, who directs it, King Kong Girl is an invitation to Despentes’s punk feminism: “Feminism is an adventure for women, men, and everyone else.”
This show contains images that may disturb younger audiences, as well as photosensitive lighting effects (risk of epilepsy).
