Le Tout-Petit Festival dans vos musées

The City of Marseille, in partnership with the Réseau Art et Tout-Petit Provence, is organizing the Cultural and Artistic Discovery Days as part of the Tout-Petit Festival, presented by the municipal libraries.

Saturday, November 28: Family Day A cultural and artistic day for very young children and their parents, offering a chance to discover cultural venues and creative work together from an early age (workshops, performances, reading and play areas, ...). Many municipal and partner venues across Marseille will be open and offering activities.

Discovery visits

► Les Enfants modernes Musée Cantini From 9:30am to 12pm Very young children and their families are invited to discover the museum in a dedicated space,, through games and hands-on activities. Led by a museum educator. For children aged 3 and up Ongoing, no booking required

► Baby [mac] [mac] musée d’art contemporain At 10am A fun visit through the collection exhibition galleries Led by the museum educators For children aged 2 and up Registration required: macpublics@marseille.fr

► Poupées d’Arizona Musée des Arts Africains, Océaniens, Amérindiens At 10am Discover the carved dolls of Arizona. Stories and games await very young children and their families as they encounter the museum’s collections for the first time. Led by the museum educators. For children aged 0 to 3 Registration required: maaoa@marseille.fr

► Les Sens en Provence Musée Beaux Arts At 10am and 11am Discover Provence through Emile Loubon’s painting, Vue de Marseille prise des Aygalades, un jour de marché. Following the sung stroll of two companions, Zig and Zag, children use all their senses to explore this landscape from our region. Led by the museum educators. ► L’empire des sens Château Borély - Musée des Arts décoratifs, de la Faïence et de la Mode At 3:30pm Unusual fragrances, terracotta, soft fabrics and rough leather… Discover the museum through sensory activities among the collections, to sharpen the senses and better appreciate the pleasure of things!
