L’enfant qui n’avait pas peur des loups, mais très peur de grandir

This story takes the form of a coming-of-age tale. Jeanne is a solitary little girl. She likes playing at “being afraid” and inventing stories. In her dreamlike world, the wolf—the emblematic, terrifying animal of fairy tales—is there. But this wolf is not frightening. He is even endearing, despite his serious demeanor and his anger toward humans. Jeanne easily makes fun of him. She feels strong. Yet one thing terrifies the child… something she finds difficult to admit to herself. Jeanne is terribly afraid of growing up. But what could be more normal? The wolf, like a father figure, explains to Jeanne that some fears are perfectly acceptable to admit. And that he himself… is sometimes a little afraid. Admitting your fears: that is the first step toward facing them. Written and directed by: Sandra Trambouze With: Jeanne Peltier-Lanovsky, Eric Bernard, Jean-Marc Fillet and Jérôme Beaufils (alternating)
