About this event

The Muséum opens the doors to the Agora, a science education space for observing, discovering and experimenting with science and nature.

A different science workshop every Wednesday, open to everyone curious about nature!

In November, the Muséum invites you to take part in one of its flagship workshops...

► Wednesday, November 04 at 3:30 p.m.: "A zoo under the leaves"

What little creatures are hiding under leaves and in the soil of gardens and green spaces?

Big or tiny, with or without legs, observe their strange shapes using a range of tools suited to their size (the naked eye, a magnifying glass and a binocular microscope). Learn to classify them using an identification key and find out more about how they help keep the soil alive.

► Wednesday, November 18 at 3:30 p.m.: "20,000 lives beneath the seas"

Do sea urchins and starfish have anything in common? Discover Mediterranean biodiversity by observing its wildlife. Using the specimens provided, this workshop introduces children and adults alike to the scientific classification process.

► Wednesday, November 25 at 3:30 p.m.: "Back" to the fossil"

But what is a fossil? Where does it come from, and how did it form? And why does it sometimes look like a little creature? In this workshop, find the answers through observations and our life-size card game, where you are the hero. Your goal? To become a fossil. Ready to take on the adventure?

  • Workshop for adults and children ages 8 and up
  • A participating parent must be present
  • Duration: 45 minutes
  • Reservations at 04 91 14 59 55 (Monday to Friday)
