Looking for Cherine
Performance and discussion
About this event
Villa Mistral presents « Looking for Cherine », a performance followed by a discussion, offered as part of Semaine du récit by the GENA collective.
Through her journey, Cherine takes us on a quest for identity, heritage and freedom, encountering two pioneering women: Hilma af Klint, the Swedish pioneer of abstract art, and Cheikha Rimitti, a major Algerian figure in raï music.
As part of Semaine du récit.
