L’Origine du monde, ou la mythologie grecque racontée aux enfants

A show for ages 7 and up by Badaboum théâtre production and the théâtre de Ajmer. Here is the story of the chthonic and Uranian deities, and of the elements that contributed to the formation of the world: Earth and Sky – Gaia and Ouranos –, the waves, as well as the night and its deities, abandonment, Medusa’s eyes, the ether and the stars. Then comes the story of the first gods, the Titans, a people from whom Prometheus, humanity’s elder brother – the one through whom scandal arrives – descended. Greek myths carry immense poetry. They are also tools for understanding the world, and deserve to be placed before children: let us trust that they will know how to use them! Oh, listen to justice, Do not let violence grow.
