About this event
On October 21 and 22, 2026, the City of Marseille is setting up its Health Village on Place du Nautile, in the Frais-Vallon neighborhood of the 13th arrondissement. From 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., this free event, open to everyone, offers a comprehensive program of prevention, screening and access to care, in partnership with numerous local organizations. The 2026 edition is held in support of the Octobre Rose campaign.
Marseille Village Santé sets up in Frais-Vallon for two days of prevention
Organized by the City of Marseille in collaboration with Réseaux 13, Marseille Village Santé is a mobile initiative that travels directly to neighborhoods to bring health services closer to residents. This year, the event takes place in the Frais-Vallon neighborhood of the 13th arrondissement on October 21 and 22, 2026, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., on Place du Nautile. Admission is completely free, and no advance registration is required to visit most of the stands. Through this event, Marseille reaffirms its commitment to public health and to reducing territorial inequalities in access to care. The aim is practical: to provide local solutions for people who have difficulty seeing a healthcare professional or finding their way through the healthcare system. The Health Village complements other ongoing municipal initiatives, such as the International Vaccination Centre, Sport Santé Séniors and the Maison Sport Santé. This health event in Marseille, in the Bouches-du-Rhône, is also part of the Octobre Rose campaign, which is dedicated to raising awareness of breast cancer screening. The first edition, held in 2024, brought together nearly 40 partners and welcomed 375 registered participants. The International Vaccination Centre carried out 210 blood glucose tests and 70 catch-up vaccinations, while the Maison Sport Santé conducted around a hundred physical activity assessments.
A comprehensive program focused on prevention and access to care
The Health Village offers a structured visitor route, with a welcome desk at the entrance to help participants find their way. The various stands cover a wide range of topics, designed to meet the needs of all age groups and backgrounds. The program includes:
Women's health Mental health Cancer prevention and screening Diabetes screening and blood glucose checks High blood pressure screening Access to rights and healthcare Relationships and sexual health Children's and young people's health Prevention and harm reduction Prevention and vaccination Sport and health assessment Many other activities
This wide-ranging program gives every visitor the opportunity to take stock of their health, get tailored prevention advice and meet healthcare professionals directly. Those who would like to plan their visit can download the detailed program from the City of Marseille website. Parties and festivals in Marseille focused on health and well-being are still uncommon at this level of proximity to residents, making this event particularly noteworthy on the municipal calendar. Several public transport options are available for getting to Place du Nautile: Frais-Vallon metro station serves the site directly, and buses no. 6 and 39, stopping at Métro Frais-Vallon, also provide easy access from different parts of the city.
Marseille Village Santé prices: free admission for everyone
Marseille Village Santé, on Place du Nautile in the 13th arrondissement, is free and open to the entire public, regardless of age or circumstances. This free access reflects the City of Marseille's commitment to removing all barriers to health prevention and information.
