Jonathan III invites you to sail on Saturdays in July and August, to learn how to handle a sailboat and discover Marseille Bay and its biodiversity.

What are we offering you?

• 4 hours aboard the Jonathan sailboat

• An introduction to sailing

• Discover and observe living organisms using a plankton net and microscope

Sailing requires favorable weather, so the outing may be cancelled depending on conditions.

This helps ensure your safety (by covering insurance and essential navigation equipment).

⚠️ If you are unable to come, please let us know at least 48h in advance. If possible, offer your place to someone you know 🙏 This helps us keep the outing going with our volunteer skippers and share the experience with others.

🔹 When you join, please read the outing guidelines carefully. They explain everything about how the sailing trip works and what equipment you need. Here's a summary: a quick picnic, water, closed-toe shoes, a cap, sunscreen (ideally ocean-friendly), a good mood, and a commitment to the values of kindness, respect and solidarity ;)

For each outing:

• 4 free invitation places: for beneficiaries of our partners (community centers and social service organizations). Please do not take these places if you are not in one of the groups listed above. This matters a lot to us, because social diversity is part of the soul of Marseille — and it's a social project that concerns us all!

• 4 pay-what-you-can places (for everyone).

💬 Pay what you can for the outing: This system ensures that everyone can sail aboard the Jonathan, whatever their financial situation. Here are some guidelines for contributing according to your means:

• Solidarity rate 10 € or more: covers the minimum costs (fuel and minor boat maintenance)

• Suggested rate 17 € or more: contributes to the boat's winter maintenance work

• Supporter rate 35 € or more: contributes to the association's long-term sustainability
