Sortie aux étoiles (jeudi 3 décembre)

The Jonathan III invites you to sail by the stars, watch the Bay of Marseille at sunset, and let the night under sail enchant you.

What do we have in store for you?

• 4 hours aboard the Jonathan sailboat

• An introduction to sailing

• Discover the geological history of the Bay of Marseille and the stars with a science communicator (to be confirmed)

Sailing requires favorable weather, so depending on conditions, the outing may be canceled.

⚠️ Before boarding, you must join the association for 5€ via this link:

🔗 Membership – Le Chant des Voiles : https://urlr.me/qUmX5E

This helps ensure your safety (by covering insurance and essential sailing equipment).

⚠️ If you can no longer attend, please let us know at least 48h in advance. If possible, offer your place to someone you know 🙏 This helps us sail with our volunteer captains and make the outing available to others.

🔹 When you join, please read the outing guidelines carefully. They explain everything about the sailing trip and the equipment you will need. Here is a summary: a quick picnic, water, closed-toe shoes, a cap, sunscreen (ideally one that is ocean-friendly), a good mood, and a commitment to the values of kindness, respect and solidarity ;)

For each outing:

• 4 places at a pay-what-you-can, mindful rate (for everyone).

💬 Pay what you can, mindfully, for the outing: this approach ensures that everyone can sail aboard the Jonathan, whatever their financial circumstances. Here are a few suggested contributions, depending on your means:

• Solidarity rate 10 € or +: covers minimum costs (fuel and minor boat maintenance)

• Suggested rate 17 € or +: contributes to the boat's winter maintenance work

• Supporter rate 35 € or +: contributes to the association's long-term viability

You can also assess your financial circumstances and privileges using a “thunomètre”; here is an example by clicking here.

• 4 free guest places: for beneficiaries of our partners (community centers and social organizations). Please do not take one of these places unless you meet the above criteria. This matters a great deal to us, because social diversity is part of Marseille's spirit — and this is a shared social project that concerns us all!

See you soon, sailing to the song of the sails ;)
