Organization: MARSEILLE GIRL'S CLUB

Marseille Girl's Club was created in 2024 at the initiative of Elise, who, after commenting on a simple TikTok, brought together a hundred women on Instagram with one goal: to create something that truly brings women together. Within 24 hours, the name was chosen, and within 48 hours, the first get-together took place.

Among those hundred women was Anais. Together, they developed events over the next few months, initially in small groups, to meet, get to know one another, and make friends in Marseille. Then they had to recruit the first volunteers. That’s when Claire, Emma, Estelle, and Maeva came on the scene. Each of them, alongside their work and personal lives, helped create the association you know today. The six of them manage the club’s organization and growth so it can reach more and more women. But there’s no doubt they couldn’t keep the association going without the valuable and essential volunteers who joined them in 2025/2026: Zoé, Tyfaine, Narjis, Coralie, Lilia, Marine & Marine, Maureen, Zaïneb, Agathe, and Ericka. They’re the people you meet most of the time; they’re the ones who make it possible for you, in practice, to meet your besties.

This large group of volunteers is here for one shared reason: to take action together so women in Marseille feel included, reclaim the city, enjoy affordable offerings, meet, exchange ideas, and challenge everyday sexism and internalized misogyny through direct action.
