The Pôle des Musiques du Monde is especially proud and delighted to welcome, for its 21st edition, Festival Talmazgha, dedicated to Amazigh cultures and presented by the Sud Culture association, on the stage of the Cité de la Musique de Marseille auditorium.

Two artists will share the bill for this first edition at the Cité de la Musique de Marseille.

20h30 - MOHSEN FERRAH

Mohsen Ferrah has helped bring modern Chaoui music to a wider audience through several albums combining traditional songs in Tamazight (Chaoui). He pursues a solo career and collaborates with various artists, particularly on the Marseille scene since settling in France. He explores gnawi influences and continues to champion music that is open-minded, rooted and uncompromising. A versatile musician, Mohsen embodies a musical fusion of Amazigh heritage and contemporary jazz-rock. He seeks to build a bridge between the traditions of his homeland and music scenes around the world.

Mohsen FERRAH (vocals, guitar), Hichem TAKAOUTE (bass), Hichem Bellaa (drums)
