Music to fall for: radical and deeply sensitive, where fractured rhythms, powerful vocals, and mutant pop and experimental forms shatter the boundaries of the club.

Alongside her, V:triol and Alice Ola Terreur open this first evening as a passage into the festival’s universe.

For its first edition, Dreamachine is honored to present, with actoral, a live set by Ziùr, one of the most singular voices in contemporary electronic avant-garde music.

A figure on Berlin’s experimental scene, producer, musician, DJ and singer, Ziùr has spent more than ten years creating work that stubbornly refuses categorization. First brought to attention in particular by U Feel Anything? on Planet Mu / Objects Limited, she has developed with ATØ a style in which deconstructed club music, R&B, oblique pop, metallic textures and acoustic instrumentation collide.

With Antifate, released on the PAN label, this exploration opens up further: shattered rhythms, dub bass, piano, flute and ghostly vocals make up music that is as physical as it is vulnerable.

Yet her work is not only about experimenting with form. With ATØ, Ziùr was already imagining her music as a solidarity network for people struggling to find their place, survivors, outsiders and those who resist the status quo.

A conception of music that particularly resonates with Dreamachine’s vision: the club as a space of emancipation, disruption and transformation.

Her album Home, released in 2025, marks a new shift. On it, Ziùr sings in German for the first time and allows her voice, memory and personal story to emerge more fully.

Her arrival in Marseille comes at a particularly significant moment in her career. Six days before Dreamachine, De Brujas y Fantasmas will be released, a soundtrack composed for a performance by choreographer and dancer Kianí del Valle, recently presented in Berlin after the Venice Biennale. Inspired by La Llorona, María Sabina and Mary Wigman’s Hexentanz, the work summons witches and ghosts as guardians of knowledge and stories kept at the margins.

An exploration in which music, body, ritual and metamorphosis become inseparable.

It is difficult to imagine a better artist to open Dreamachine Festival: an oeuvre that treats disruption, hybridization and the margins not as territory to be explained, but as a power to be experienced.

Behind the sonic radicalism lies what runs through all her work: a deeply human exploration of belonging, freedom and the possibility of reinventing oneself.

For this opening evening, her live set will be preceded by V:triol and Alice Ola Terreur: three propositions for entering the festival through its margins, between electronic experimentation, performance and unruly forms.
