The Beat Generation icon is making her grand return to the stage and to this world; the only problem is that she has come back in a body that is not her own. Never mind: the actress serving as her physical vessel delivers as if she had been born Joplin. In fact, the confusion takes hold, as the voice is identical while recounting a trajectory that was too short, marked by doubt and loneliness, and singing accompanied on guitar by Jérôme Castel.
