This is the story of Marichen, her nickname, a young child living with strange feelings, far removed from a conventional childhood: shame, disgust, fear and silence are part of her everyday life. Years later, Marichen is a mother. She can no longer bear the voice in her head, that of her grandfather, still there all the time; so she decides to write down this conversation that keeps going round in circles.
