About this event

Goutte2Mere (France, PACA region - Original work created as part of the Be On support program - Marie-Myriam Soltani)

Classically trained on the harp, Goutte2mere shifts its academic associations, turning the instrument into something unstable, traversed by improvised gestures and multiple memories. Electrified and run through effects pedals, the harp becomes an open sound material, where feedback, fragile distortion and organic glitches become creative materials. On stage, it interacts with a looper, a rhythmic circuit and a voice transformed in real time. The pieces take shape in the moment, through layers of textures, loops and vocal fragments. Based in Marseille, she also explores the kanun, a harp-like instrument found in North African music, to broaden the lineages explored in her live performance. [ voice, electric harp ]

Delphine Joussein - Calamity (France)

The transverse flute in all its forms! Far from the angelic image often associated with the instrument, the flute is pushed to its limits. Electronics, voice, mouth effects, percussion—it all passes through the tube. Fierce duels between frenzy and introspection, organic and electric, acoustic and amplified, all backed by solid riffs played live. A story full of twists and turns, driven by the desire to surprise and never limit the instrument’s sonic potential. [ transverse flute, voice, electronics ]
