Directed and masterfully performed by Michel Fau, the play delights us with delicious lines. A real treat! With Sacha Guitry, jealousy is a dish best served show. Let anyone who has never been jealous choke on their huge lie. Since jealousy is one of the most widely shared feelings, the husband, wife and lover have long formed the winning trio of boulevard theater. It was therefore unthinkable that the master of the genre would not savor it. More than a century after the play was created, it has lost none of its sharp wit, which keeps our laughter flowing. Michel Fau is exquisite as the deceiver who is deceived and on the verge of a nervous breakdown, alongside Gwendoline Hamon as the falsely naive wife-mistress and Alexis Moncorgé as the stupid seducer.
