At a school of cryptozoology, a specialist welcomes the public for an introduction to the subject. Future students, we follow the trail of small mysterious creatures that evade our gaze. We track them down, look for their traces, listen to them, observe their anatomy and their movements. In this roaming performance, everyone is invited to experiment and care for these hybrid beings somewhere between plants and the digital. The art of puppetry brings these imaginary creatures to life. We can thus experience their mobility and their interactions with one another. Michaël Cros and Clément Montagnier encourage us to sharpen our gaze and look at familiar spaces with fresh eyes. By combining our imaginations, and with the wit of author Karin Serres, they enable us to explore reality in order to re-enchant it and repopulate it with mystery. Together, we weave new legends and draw new maps to travel between the known and the unknown, connected to the richness of living things, whatever their scale.
