Le repas des fauves

1942, Paris under the Occupation. Seven friends get together to celebrate a birthday. The evening is lighthearted, despite the shortages. But suddenly, an attack takes place beneath their windows: two German soldiers are shot dead. In retaliation, the Gestapo demands two hostages, giving them a Machiavellian choice: the seven friends must decide among themselves who will be handed over to the Germans.

Thus begins the “repas des Fauves”: masks fall, friendship shatters and solidarity evaporates in the face of the instinct to survive.
