Salma, mon amour - Ahmed El Attar
About this event
“What becomes of us when the values of our contemporary world are reduced to pieces?” In Cairo, a bourgeois family lives cut off from the world and from the absolute tragedy that will soon unfold nearby. In this closed world, Salma, the younger daughter, is mainly concerned with social media, while her brother is focused on his upcoming marriage to a wealthy American woman.
The bloody reality of the tragedy unfolding crashes into the young woman’s life, plunging a family circle that thought itself beyond reach into violence.
