Yokaï

Emerging during the Edo period (the year 1600), traditional Japanese magic emphasizes form. Magic must be “beautiful.” The word Tezuma also means “to embellish with the hands.” Today, this form of magic is becoming increasingly rare.

The show “Yokaï” skillfully combines traditional magic, storytelling and theatre, all in a Japanese atmosphere sure to delight young and old alike!
